    Check for tradeable months

    I had a search around but have not been able to find a suitable solution. I'm looking for a way to check to see if the current month falls in a particular range.

    IE if we are trading June check to see if Time[0] is between 3 and 6, the months when june is front month?

    The long way round would be if(Time[0] == 3 || Time[0] == 4......)

    But there must be a better way?

    Hello GKonheiser,

    Thank you for your post.

    You can use Time[0].Month to pull the month number from the DateTime object. So you could check this in a number of ways, I provided an example below:
    Code:
    if(Time[0].Month >= 3 && Time[0].Month < 7)
    {
    Print("Current month is between March and June.");
    }
    For information on DateTime.Month please visit the following link: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...v=vs.110).aspx

    Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.
