Market Analyzer & Trading Strategies

Hello,

I was wondering if a trade strategy has the ability to reference the Market Analyzer with a ranking method?

Clarification: I build the CSI (Commodity Selection Index) to rank commodities in the market analyzer. And would like to reference that in a trade strategy that says something like: "Only take the trade if the commodity is in the top 5 of the CSI ranking on the market analyzer."

Is this even possible?

While it's not possible to access the Market Analyzer from a strategy you could achieve your goal in a different way.

You would need to make a multi series strategy. The strategy would need to be looking at each commodity you're tracking. It could then use you're indicator and internal variable tracking to determine which 5 instruments to trade on.

Thanks, I already have done that. It is just that the indicator itself is slow and takes up a lot of memory. But I guess I will just have to deal with it.
