That would be great, keep that request, although I'm seeing that it was a quite some time ago, I hope this request takes another priority level given the often issue in many of NT users.

Your request for a re-connection event, to obtain account position info from brokerage and update Strategy Position upon re-connection is being tracked with ID# SFT-751.

We are always striving to improve our product. Please let me know of any other enhancement ideas you have for NinjaTrader.

Thanks Chelsea. It's an important matter pending to solve and I've tried everything unsuccessfully so far. Another possible solution that might work for me would be if there was a special procedure to reset Position.Quantity, cause it will make possible to write scripts accordingly.
