I am now having an issue with exporting. It says "Error compiling export sources" with the indicator after. If i open the indicator and compile everything compiles fine. It was fine last night when i tried also. What do i do to fix this??

Error Compiling export sources: c:\Documents and Settings\Micheal Maxim\My Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin\Custom\Indicator\Tims4Ma.

And i basically cant export anything else right now either, tried other indicators and get the same error , just with different name at end

To clarify further, if you open an indicator and press F5 to compile, it will compile no problem?

Yes it compiles with no problem, but if i try to export any of them i get that error

Can you try to export again, when it fails please provide me any error text that you find in the Control Center log tab.

The error I typed is what it says exactly evertime, the only thing that changes is the last statement, which changes depending on the indicator chosen to export. I am unable to export any indicator right now

Can you then send zip the entire contents of the following folder -

My Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin\custom

OK since i had to reboot my trading pc i dedcided to reinstall ninja trader. After reinstall i am still having the export problem but get this. If i choose just to indicator i want to export it comes up with the erroe found in post below. But if i choose every indicator on the left side it exports them just fine. So very confused here. Do you still want me to email the files in the folders you mentioned below. It almost seems like a glitch to me in the fact it should include some files on export but then just says error instead.

Yes, we need the files specified in order to see where the problem is.

Ok, sorry guys my internet has been flacky as heck lately. I have figured out that the file that wont export uses a "public enum" from another indicator. the other indicator has the enum for 4 diferent ema's in a drop down. I took that code and placed it in this indicator and still no go. i will send the files you want tonight when i get home. but as a question for now what is "publis enum" if anyone can shed some light for me and how do i make an indicator that uses one export without the indicator that defines the enum

No need to send us files, you can Google "Enum" to get some data that is better than I can quickly type. Instead of using an enum, use an integer where different values represent different MA's.

Question i got now. I would like to make an inidicator that can plot the volume of the YM while i am on the ES chart. Is this possible with ninja?? I will figure it all out myself, but if it is a point in the direction i may need would be great, otherwise let me know if it is not supported. I imagine i may have to use a strategy to access the outside data.
