Removing File Dependencies
Hello:
What "file dependencies" usually exist after using "Save As" to change the name of an existing strategy which for instance has been edited in some minor way? When trying to delete the new file I often get the error messageThank you.This file is likely referenced by other NinjaScript files and these dependencies need to be removed first.Tags: None

Hello tradenj,
NinjaTrader should only change the Strategy Base name and all instances of it inside of the Strategy. For example:
To manually remove them follow the steps below.Code:public class SampleMultiTimeFrame : Strategy //Renamed to SampleMultiTimeFrameTest would look like public class SampleMultiTimeFrameTest : Strategy
* Go to (My) Documents -> NinjaTrader 7 -> bin -> Custom -> Indicator/Strategy folder
* Find the indicator(s)/strategy(s)
* Right click on the File and select Delete to remove it.
* Note the “@” symbol signifies that it is predefined when you installed NinjaTrader so you do not want to remove any of these items.
Happy to be of further assistance.JCNinjaTrader Customer Service
