    non-ClearType font problem in DrawText()

In a continuation of this topic Disable anti-aliasing function in NT 7?:

ClearType fonts looks terrible on my NT-charts on LG Flatron L222WS monitor.
So, I decide to solve the promlem by using non-clear-type font.

I installed "ProggyCleanSZ.fon" and can see it in Control Panel -> Fonts.

But when I use ProggyCleanSZ font in DrawText() - text printed on chart in Microsoft Sans Serif. Please, look at screenshot - entire process described there.
U tried some different fonts and rusult is the same.

Is there a way to print text on chart in non-ClearType font?

    Thank You.

    Hello fx.practic,

    Thank you for your post.

Was the indicator already applied to the chart before making these changes? I f you right click in the chart > select Indicators > select the iKeyDotsRead > Remove > then add it back (New) > OK, does the font now appear correctly?

Hello, Patrick. Thank You for Your answer.

I applied and reapplied changes, I restarting NT and restarting my Windows 8.
      Result the same.

Just now I tried Dina Programming Font - result on screenshot in attachment.

I tried to install Anonymous Pro font from ".ttf" file and it work OK.
And ProggyCleanSZ and Dina fonts were installed from ".fon" files.

UPD: As for as I see, .fon are bitmap fonts ant they don't supported in .Net, right?

        Hello fx.practic,

        Thank you for your response.

You may need to restart NinjaTrader after importing a font in Windows. Please try restarting NinjaTrader and then test the fonts once more.

Well, I got my compromise decision: I found here attached font Terminus.ttf. It looks same with ClearType on\off.

It looks grate, it has strike-out 0 (!).

One thing is strange - I can see it everywhere in system, but NT (can see this at screenshot).

UPD #1: Oh, "Terminus" hasn't cyrylic symbols.
UPD #2: "Andale mono" - yahoo!
UPD #3: "Liberation Mono" - excellent monospase font.

Right-mouse-click on font file in explorer and choose "Install" in context menu.

All fonts, installed from *.tff files, works grate. In Ms-Word and MS-Excell I can see fonts just after installing. To see and to use fonts in NT I have to restart NT (but it's ok).

My main problem was solved when I understend: I need *.tff fonts that looks same with ClearType On and ClearType Off.

                  Hello fx.practic,

                  Thank you for your response.

The import works well on my end. What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check this by going to Help > About. Example: 7.0.1000.16

I look forward to your response.
