how to choose bid or ask price

How to change the built in Open, High, Low, Close from default (bid price) to ask price?

I need the whole strategy run using the ask prices instead of bid since I enter the market on ask price.

What is the usual format for historical data? (It seems to be the bid price)

Historical bar data for futures and equities is based on last price.
Historical bar data for FX on MBT and GAIN is based on bid price
Historical bar data for FX on eSignal and IQFeed is based on their reported last price (not sure if they subsitute bid/ask or spread value)
