    Instrument Value

    I am trying to add a Renko data series to my strategy however the only syntax is as follows:
    AddRenko(string instrumentName, int brickSize, MarketDataType marketDataType)

    I want the instrumentName to be the same as the instrument for the rest of the strategy without having to define it in the code for each different instrument. Is there any way to do this?

    Hello Rozinig,

    Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader Support Forum!

    You can use Instrument.FullName in this place to pull the instrument the indicator or strategy is applied to:
    Code:
    AddRenko(Instrument.FullName, 4, MarketDataType.Last);
    For information on Instrument.FullName please visit the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...t_fullname.htm

    Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.
