    Change plot text?

    Can I change the plot text/description that shows in the data box after the plot has already been added? I can change the plot width, color,and other attributes. I wasn't sure if I could access the description field.

    Just change the string that identifies the Plot.

    e.g., change "Plot0" to "WhatWasItYouWanted"

      I thank you but what I really needed was ".Name". Your answer led me there but Harry gave it to me.

      Plots[0].Name = "WhatWasItYouWanted";

      Tough helping the blind sometimes isn't it. Where did I put my white cane.

        While that certainly works, that is the more geeky method we use when we want to be able to manipulate that name from the PropertyGrid.

        Much simpler is to simply declare the name when you create the Plot.
        Code:
        Add(new Plot(Color.FromKnownColor(KnownColor.Blue), PlotStyle.Line, "WhatWasItYouWanted"));
        which is what I suggested. Next time, just let me know that you want the fully geekified version.

          The issue I had is the indicator and plots had already been added to the chart. I wanted to change the existing name rather than remove the indicator and add it back.

          Cheers
