Instrument specific indicator...

Is it possible to program an indicator that can work on specific instruments. Meaning can there be a simple code inplementation to make an indicator only work on say crude oil and gold so if you loaded up onto say corn it wouldn't work? I'd be interested to hear the thoughts on some of the programmers here. Thank you....

You can use MasterInstrument.Name to check if the instrument name is correct:

if(Instrument.MasterInstrument.Name == "CL" || Instrument.MasterInstrument.Name == "GC")
			{
				//Do something
			}
			else return;
