    Hello,

What files are you opening that are empty? Do you mean the indicator files already installed?

Where exactly are you opening them? Do you go to Tools--> Edit NinjaScript, or are you opening them directly from your hard drive.

        lucci,

The indicator files should be in a .zip format. You should be able to locate the .zip files on your desktop from the Import NinjaScript utility. Once you have located the file, just highlight the indicator zip file and select "open".

You do not need to open the .zip file through the utility, you just need to highlight it and select the "open" button and we will extract it for you.

It is not a zip file, unless someone changed it?`it is a strategy that i created once, but had problems compiling so I took it out and put it in a separate archive so the other strategies would still work, however now I am trying to put it back in but coming from :import ninjascript, all archive files on the desktop regardless of content, are empty??

It would need to be a .zip file to use the import feature.

What is the file exetension? Is it a .cs file?

If it's a .cs file and you're sure it's a strategy, you will need to manually copy it into Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\custom\Strategy

Once saved, you will need to go to Tools--> Edit NinjaScript--> Strategy--> open the strategy and compile the strategies. If it gives you errors, you will need to debug these errors until no errors are returned.

Just wondering why it did not work to do it that way.
