    quantity

Does anyone know how to change quantity in orders for currency sim trading I have currently put 2 lots and dont know how to change it.
And what is 2 representing when it is not a share but a currency?
How much is qty 2 when it comes to currency?

    Hello lucci,

Who are you connected to? This is displayed by green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

If you are using Gain with a live account, the quantity will reflect the minimum you can trade with your account. For example, if your account minimum is micro, then quantity 2 will equal 2,000. If your account minimum is mini, then quantity 2 will equal 20,000 etc.

When using Gain with the simulator, quantity will always refer to a full 100K lot.

For all other brokers quantity will refer to the smallest unit of a partial lot.

A standard lot is equal to .1M
A mini lot is equal to .01M
A micro lot would then be 1000.

    1,000 = .001M
    10,000 = .01M
    100,000 = .1M
    1,000,000 = 1.0M

This will be the unit size, and represent the total number of units located within a lot size, either standard, mini, or micro, and this should affect the account performance since a whole integer of unit sizes may not calculate based on the smallness of the unit sizes.

In a strategy you will need to enter the full integer. For example:
    EnterLong(100000, "long1");

    This would buy 1 lot.

Please let me know if this does not resolve your inquiry.
