Drawline Strategy +CurrentBar help

Hello,

I need some help with drawing a line within a strategy.

if(Open>Close){ 
DrawLine("tag1", false, lookBack, MAX(Swing(Highs[0], 5).SwingHigh, 10)[lookBack], 0, MAX(Swing(Highs[0], 5).SwingHigh, 10)[0], Color.LimeGreen, DashStyle.Dot, 2);
}

works fine. But when I try to add +CurrentBar to the tag I have problems:

DrawLine("tag1"+CurrentBar, false, lookBack, MAX(Swing(Highs[0], 5).SwingHigh, 10)[lookBack], 0, MAX(Swing(Highs[0], 5).SwingHigh, 10)[0], Color.LimeGreen, DashStyle.Dot, 2);

When I chart it within the strategy analyzer, I see the lines plotted, but when I scoll left my CPU usage crashes NT. What am I donig wrong?

Hello marcoheimann,

From the sound of it, NinjaTrader is working very hard to draw a lot of objects on your chart.

The Swing indicator is also cpu intensive.

I tested this line on my machine and while my CPU usage did increase it doesn't quite cause my computer to lag or freeze.

You may want to look into possibly upgrading your system.

You may want to try using the Swing.highbar values of the Swing instead of the plot value.
