Entries per direction

Good morning

I am a bit baffled as to exactly what the entries per direction
is supposed to do.

I watch a system hit a profit goal and the system then immediately
re-enters on next bar same direction when the entries per direction
is set at 1.

Is this correct behavior or am I using this wrong?

This would be correct behaviour since your entry condition is triggering an action to enter again.

Entries per direction

Hi Ray

How would you tell the strategy to just take one trade?

Seems like the subsequent ones turn out to be losses more
times than not.

Assume this is in the Strategy Wizard?

If yes, its not possible to limit to only 1 trade per session at this time. It is possble of course to directly program this.
