Include Files

How do I include a file inside other files. I have a function that I call in most of my strategies. Rather than copy the code to each one, how can I make it included in all of them from an outside file I can edit once?

TiggerTrader, you could look into adding the reused parts as methods into the UserDefinedMethods files, there's one for indicators and one for strategies - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...user%2Bdefined

OK, that is close, but it can't export my strategies. The log file says that the "common" function "does not exist in the current context" even though I can manually compile it just fine.

Any ideas?

Would suggest then to rename the UserDefinedMethods to a custom file name, like TiggerTradeUtils. Then you should be able to export it alongside.

OK, so if I send my strategies and the utility file to another computer, when I change the utility file, do I need to recompile all files and resend, or resend ONLY the utility file?

You should only need to update the utility file if you did not make any changes to the other files.
