Optimize profit and stop only parameters

I need to create an optimizer to use on the fly in quick moving situations.

I would like to use the optimizer and have the main variables entered manually

but I would like it to optimize on the the same profit and stop values each time without user interface.


So each time I run the optimizer it will look for a profit between 10 and 50 and a stop between 10 and 50.

I see that I can default the max value but is it possible to also default the min value

delta20, what you could do is creating a default template with the desired strategy optimization start settings, so it would contain your ranges already set and your preferred optimization could be started with less clicks. To do this just set paramters and ranges as desired and right click in the optimizer tab and select to set a default.

When I create optimizer using the wizard there is a default field and a min field. Both fields populate with the default field at the user interface when running the strategy.

Is there a way to populate the max and min using the wizard?

Thanks for the clarification, this could not be spec'ed from the wizard interface at present. You could though do it via custom coding.
