Hey guys, is historical data stored in a cache in Ninjatrader? Is there a way to refresh it before running a data test?

There is not a supported method to programmatically reload the data cache from your NinjaScript code.

You would need to manually reload this data before running a data test.

Hi Sir, How do I manually refresh all of the data in ninjatrader that has been previously loaded for backtesting?

You would need to either do this form the chart by right clicking and selecting reload all historical data.

Or you can go to Tools--> Historical Data Manager--> Reload tab and select 'reload all'.

Note that the Reload tab will only reload active instruments in your workspace, such as in a chart.
