    Displayed parameter name different than the underlying Property

    Hi there,

    I want each strategy parameter to have a "name" (visible to the end-user) different than the corresponding underlying Property name.

    For example, the underlying Property might be IniStop, and the displayed parameter name I would like to see in the Parameters list (in Strategy Analyzer, etc) would be :
    "23. Initial Stop size (#ticks)"

    How can I do that ?

    Thanks in advance
    Dominique

    Hello Dominique,
    You can use the DisplayName attribute to do it. A sample code will be like

    Code:
    [Gui.Design.DisplayName("23. Initial Stop size (#ticks)")]
    [Description("")]
    [GridCategory("Parameters")]
    public int MyInput0
    {
           get { return myInput0; }
           set { myInput0 = Math.Max(1, value); }
    }
