Hello,

Is there any way to send a signal to a running strategy?
For example, I would like to stop the strategy only when it is in flat position or for example, say to my strategy to don’t open new positions but still continue working.
It can be done in different ways using .Net but I was wondering if there is a ‘recommended’ way to do that…

Yes, update some variable in a running strategy would do the work. How it can be done?

Both would be unsupported, but you have two options.

Or you can create some sort of toolbar button the strategy implements.

Thank you, I see how it works.
ToolStrip need to be used with a chart. Is there something similar when running the strategy from the strategy tab? (Without CharControl).

It could be the other tool there from Zweistien. Unfortunately I am not sure how it works but it might work in the strategy tab.
