custom data importer

I have a 1 minute which is not in ninjascript format.
So i want to create a custom importer

how can i create one? Any documentation available?

You would basically have to write code that would convert the data from your format to the Ninja format. There isn't documentation for that, because it's entirely dependent upon how your data is formatted.

I am not aware of any tools out there to do this currently, so you would probably need to write your own script.

open visual studio, reference ninjatrader dll and start coding

or

create a new dummy indicator and replace my code?

To me it would make more sense to run this kind of thing outside of Ninja, but you could write it as an indicator if you wanted.
