Failed to execute DB job 'StrategyUpdateJob'

Failed to execute DB job 'StrategyUpdateJob': There was an error generating the XML document.: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

The background:
1. I get this error on one machine ("A"), but not on another ("B").
2. I can prevent the error occurring on "A" by deleting a specific set of strategies and indicators.
3. If I re-import the same set back again to machine "A" where the error occurs, the error starts to occur again.
4. However, on machine "B" where the error does not occur, deleting the "suspect" strategies and indicators, and then re-importing the same package of indicators and strategies that causes issues when imported to machine "A", does not cause any issues on machine "B".



Any ideas where to start?

Hi AnotherTrader, this is normally reseolved when the DB on the affected machine is reset on Tools > Options > Data. Can you please give this a run on your end and report back?

We did a "Repair", rather than a "Reset", which did not solve the issue.

Would that have been the same?

That would not be the same, and I would expect rather a reset is needed here unfortunately to resolve.

i get similiar error when i enable my nt strategy. Can you please tell if there is a solution? or how to enlarge db size?
