      Hello llstelle,
Dont think you will be able to measure any true performance benchmark using local PC timestamps.

You can send some orders and can measure how much delay you are getting on the confirmation, but dont think you could really measure the platform level latency.

        Hello llstelle,
The question is what you are comparing with. Unless the ticks have native timestamps you wont be able to make any meaningful comparison.

          Hello llstelle,
NinjaTrader is not a time based application but a event based application.

A time based application polls every X seconds/millisecond and checks for any change. Whether in an event based application things gets updated as things changes.

Thus it is instantaneous. Any time lag will be due to processing limitation of your system or how much resource NinjaTrader is taking etc etc.
