Im hoping someone can help with an issue I am having.
Im trying to create a Strategy that will eventually send a series of inputs to another application. The other application has an instance of a neural network that has been trained on historical data. At this point all i'm trying to do is to send price data to another application. Im trying to achieve this using Named Pipes. The other application is written in C#.
When ever I try to load a stragety with the Named Pipe CLient onto a chart NinjaTrader stops responding. I have included my code below for reference. If anyone can point out what I'm doing wrong I would appreciate it. I have written a simple console app with a named pipe serve and client and they are able to communicate just fine, but for some reason the named pipe client within Ninja trader causes the application to stop responding.
When I enable the stragety my named pipe serve apllication reports that a client has connected, so there appears to a connection however no price data is ever sent. Have named pipes been disabled in NinjaTrader, if so what is a better method for IPC?
