what are the files in Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Type for?

Hi, NT support

I have a question about the .cs files in Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Type.

what are the intent of thoes files? are they only used to customize histroical backtest order fill/optimzation algo/behavior? or they could also be used for real-time behavior control?

for example, provided that I modify the @DefaultFillType.cs file, whether would it impact the real-time market order execution?

Hello snowbig,

To start you do not want to modify the files starting with a "@" symbol. The files there are used for the calculations and you can view the if you wanted to create your own custom Fill type, Bar Type, Chart styles, Import type ect... For example the following is a custom Chart Type.

The @DefaultFillType.cs is going to be used for the HIistorical fill type like when you are running a backtest using the Strategy Analyzer.
