Failed to execute DB job 'StrategyUpdateJob'

Hi,

I'm getting the above area whenever I start NT, or doing a compile (F5), eventhough I do not have any strategies enabled at the time.

I've tried repairing the DB, with no luck.

Could anyone please assist?

Hello nicbizz,

Can you try the following steps:

* Save your license key: You can locate this by going to Help -> License Key
* Close all running applications.
* Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs/Programs and Features.
* Select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove/Uninstall
* Go to C:\Program Files\ or C:\Program Files (x86)\ if running a 64bit computer
* Right click on the "NinjaTrader 7" folder and select Delete
* Reinstall NinjaTrader 7

Please note that this will not delete any of your settings

Let us know if the issue persists.

Hello JC,

I tried a Uninstall and Reinstall, but the problem still occurs

By the way, after the uninstall, I could not find any "NinjaTrader 7" folder under C:\Program Files (x86)\ (I'm running Win 7 64bit)

Resetting the DB (instead of just repairing) fixed the problem.

In case you are wondering how to reset database, go to Tools->Options, choose Data Tab and Click on "Reset DB" button
