Plot an Arrow in the Top Left of the Chart

Hi Guys,

i try to get an Arrow an the Top Left in the chart similar to the Text you See here in the code:

DrawTextFixed("Alert","Since " +(CurrentBar+BarAtLastCross)+" Bars LONG",TextPosition.TopLeft);

Could some one help me?

Pullbacktrader, do you wish to add the arrow label here to the DrawTextFixed you already have running in this area?

To just get an arrow shown, you could use a symbol font combined with DrawTextFixed -

DrawTextFixed("tag", "u", TextPosition.TopLeft, Color.Blue, new Font("Wingdings 3", 10), Color.AliceBlue, Color.LightGray, 0);

I have one Problem: I don´t get an arrow symbol by copy and paste your code. I tried to copy an windings symbol, but it don´t work even.....

Did you compile the code after copying my changes in?

If yes - if you comment out your other DrawTextFixed sitting at the same location - would the arrow then display?

Yes, i only copied your code, compiled and saved it. :-(
There ist only a "u" displayed

Hmm, if you check for example in Word or another text editor on your system, is Wingdings3 as font available?
