Hello hzzheng,
Please make sure you are connected to the External Data Feed connection (File>Connect>External Data Feed) before appending quotes via the external application.

Unfortunately we do not officially support external application. We can only suggest further debugging you code as we are not aware of any errors in the LastPlayback method.
