Custom Drawing Tools

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to create custom drawing tools for Ninja? If yes, can they be added to the tools already built in for Ninja? Thank you.

While it is possible to create a custom drawing tool using NinjaScript, which is based on the C# language. However, it would not be something supported by our NinjaTrader Support team.

You can create almost anything you like through custom plotting and drawing with C# directly. Note a good way to start is the CustomPlotSample.

Thanks for the reply. I am well acquainted with custom programming using C#.

The custom plot sample you cite is more or less useless in the context of this question as a plot is an indicator and I am asking about drawing tools - part of the Ninja menu - rather than a custom indicator.

I understand you do not support custom programming but was looking for any info about a possible implementation of custom drawing tools into the already existing Ninja drawing tools.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of any information about the current drawing tools that would show how they are programmed in NinjaTrader.

You may want to ask some of our Forum Members if they have programmed a custom drawing tool.
