Ticks in day - TimeZone problem

    Hi,

I'm trying to count the number of ticks in a daily bar. I've 'Add'ed a tick data stream and can count that. The problem I'm having is that when you change your PC's timezone the count changes. Upon investigation, what I've discovered is that when you change your PC's timezone the daily data changes its date/time stamps to match, but the tick data doesn't change. Is there a way to get the 'Add'ed data stream (ticks) to change its timezone? Or some way of consistently lining up the two data streams, even when you change your PC timezone?

    Thanks

bubblegum, the tick data would be stamped by NT as it's recorded / downloaded to the database - you cannot change this stamp by simply switching the PC's timezone. If you download a fresh set of data in the new target timezone, it should fit and be stored properly though.

      Hi Bertrand,

Thank you very much. If I delete the NT data cache when switching my timezone then everything works perfectly.
