ninja trader bar time setting

Hello,
I wanted to know if it is possible to change what exact time a new bar appears on my chart. For example on my hourly chart my bars show up like : 6:30, 7:30,8:30,9:30 etc.

I want them to show up at the top of the hour like 6:00,7:00,8:00,9:00 etc. Is it at all possible to change this setting in ninja trader?

Wouldn't that kind of template just ignore the first 30 minutes of trading for stocks?

I believe the time stamp for each bar is provided by the data provider. Since the stock markets on East coast open at 9:30EDT, time stamping the hourly bars is usually with the open bell. That seems to be the standard. And since these markets close at 4:00EDT, the last hourly bar is actually only 30 minutes in duration.

Not sure about commodity futures markets which have a different open/close times.

Yes, you could make it so it ignores the first 30 minutes. Time stamping depends on what data provider you have. Most of them are time stamped locally on your PC which is one reason why syncing to a time service is a good idea.
