Add indicator based on different bar object in Initialize

Hi!

I'm trying to add an indicator to a strategy from a different bars object. How is this possible as BarsArray cannot be accessed?

Main bar object is 1 min chart. I like to draw the SMA based on 5 min data.

Initialize ...
Add(PeriodType.Minute, 5)
 
Add(SMA(10));

In this example the SMA is based on 1 min data. I cannot use SMA(BarsArray(1), 10) as BarsArray cannot be used in Initialize().

Hello,

There would not be an option to accomplish this from just a strategy itself.

If you want a multi-series plot added to your strategy, you would need to create a custom indicator which contains the muti-series logic for the SMA.

Once you have that accomplished, you can Add() the custom multi-time frame indicator which will plot in the strategy.
