Assigning value to a variable by clicking on chart?

Hello,

I just wondered whether there is a code I could use to input a price value from a chart into a variable in an indicator. What I mean is that say I have a price variable in my indicator and I would like to assign a price value to it by clicking on the price value on a chart?
