StopLong and StopShort at the same time.

Hello. I tried to make Strategy, where we have two active orders (EnterStopLong&EnterStopShort) for the same ticker at the same time. And I was very surprised, found that it's impossible. The Backtester fill only first stop order and ignore others. Can I switch off this feature somewhere?

dcheg, welcome to our forums here. Correct with the managed order submission approach you would be working with the internal order handling rules as well - please see the bottom section of my link from the helpguide to see how those would come into play (they would not permit two opposing orders at the same time as in your case) - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...d_approach.htm

With NinjaTrader 7 we introduced the Unmanaged orders submission mode that would not have those order handling rules working under the hood - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...d_approach.htm - this would be an alternative for you but you will give up some convenience of the mananged mode here as far as the order tracking goes.
