No market data events for second instrument

I have a chart with 2 instruments (1 min both).

I got hooked to the event like:

If bid ask is moving for first instrument I get event with BarsInProgress = 0
but if something happens in instrument 2 I dont get any notifications... should be something obvious.. help please.

Hi maxima,

One idea here is the session template. I would make sure that its hours will include the current time. If the exact added series is applied to the chart, then the script will use the session template that is applied. You can check which session template is applied through the Right Click > Data Series screen.

You may have to use the BarsInProgress to filter the MarketDataEvent. You may be getting both events clashing, so that the only one event triggers the Print statement.

Actually, the online help seems to imply that in multi-instrument/timeframe strategies, you must filter the event.

Your code doesn't Add instruments, so there will only be BarsInProgress = 0 for this.

Adding the instrument to the chart is not enough. You need an Add() statement in Initialize()
