Plotting in the Future

Some time ago i wanted to start developping for the Ninjatrader platform. One of the most important things i needed was to be able to plot in the future.

If the market data stops on december 1st i want to be able to plot a forecast line to for example jan 15 2012.

A few months back i got the confirmation (from Ninjatrader) that this was not possible
at that moment.

I now see the following example and wonder if some things have changed in this regard?

Thanks for the note.

You can plot into the future with NinjaTrader by using negative bar values with NinjaTrader 7 with drawing objects.

You can also use a workaround to do it with the Plot as well. However this requires using the right click on chart->indicators->setting displacement to move the plot into the future by a set amount.

You can also override plot to do this as well with more advanced programming.
