I am writing an indicator, for which I want the plot to display only on the current day, and do not plot values for the previous days.
Can you please guide me as to how I go about doing it.
Also I was unable to find any detailed documentation on the Plot reset() method. There is only a paragraph available in the DataSeries section but does not clarify the purpose entirely.

Hello sherazwaqar,

This is not something you will use Reset() for but can be custom coded. The following snippet checks that the bar date = your system date and then sets a plot.

if (Time[0].Date == DateTime.Now.Date)
Value.Set(Close[0]);

The only documentation for Reset is on the data series page here:

Calling the Reset() method is unique and can be very powerful for custom indicator development. DataSeries objects can hold null values which simply means that you do not want to store a value for the current bar.

Documentation will be updated for Release 8 as it is currently incorrect. Instead of 0, it uses the input series (commonly close price).
