Performing Indicator Studies

Hey guys... just thinking out loud here...

Is there a way to do a study on an indicator, to find a repeatable pattern?

I have a few indicators I'd like to test to identify patterns that are repeatable. From there, I'd then test to see if those repeatable patterns offer an edge.

Anything programmable in C# can be used alongside with NinjaTrader. For example, you can use some machine learning techniques to help identify patterns, or do statistical studies on various values of indicators/prices.

Unfortunately, this level of coding is unsupported, however if you know enough about programming in C# and grab yourself some books on pattern recognition, or statistics you should be able to do what you ask.
