    Removing posted indicator

    Hi; Is it possible to have an indicator already posted removed. I have done further research on an indicator and whilst what has been produced is useful, at least to me, it is not what it claims to be. This is obviously a genuine mistake but one I would like to correct.
    I have the right version available to post but want to get rid of any confusion first.

    Secondly, is it possible to display your own information in a, or the, 'data box' with out it being displayed as an indicator. For example if I wanted to display a simple math calculation like 25% of the 14 day average true range. Can the answer be displayed in the data box?

    Thanks;

    ben.

    stocktraderbmp,

    What indicator is this? Could you please provide me with a link? I can have our IT dept. look into this and have it handled by tomorrow.

    I look forward to assisting you.

      Hi Adam;

      Its all (three in total) of the indicators posted by me as they are all versions of the same. They can be found if you search Ravi or Chande. I was having problems with the negative values for the indicator, they lagged too much to be useful in a strategy so was re reading Chandes book and noticed a glaring error, mine not his obviously. The values should have been absolute. I have corrected the mistake and added other enhancements but am a bit embarrassed to have posted the indicator as the 'RAVI' indicator when in fact it isn't. I will repost the indicator under a new name with notes explaining the error and post the proper RAVI indicator as well.

        stocktraderbmp,

        You can delete these yourself if you go to the indicator section then click the little pencil icon. It will allow you to modify the indicator post. At the bottom of the page is a delete check box. You can check this box and then update the post. It will be deleted after this. Should you require additional assistance, please let us know.

            Sorry for troubling you again. Any ideas about the second part of the question:

            Secondly, is it possible to display your own information in a, or the, 'data box' with out it being displayed as an indicator. For example if I wanted to display a simple math calculation like 25% of the 14 day average true range. Can the answer be displayed in the data box?

              stocktraderbmp,

              I am not aware of any way to do this without delving into unsupported programming. You could use the market analyzer or print to the chart itself, for example with DrawTextFixed().

              Here is a link to the help guide on DrawTextFixed() : http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...wtextfixed.htm
