improving loading Speed

Hi

I have an indicator that needs to load Bid Ask data for more than 50 days which take a very long time to load.

Is there a way programmatically to improve the loading time speed ?

What I don't understand is that NinjaTrader looks at the cache when data has been loaded previously which should have a positive effet on loading time !

Hi blar58,

There's unfortunately no easy changes you can make that will improve performance. It all depends how your script is coded: If you're using the most efficient tools for the task, that you're cleaning up any custom resources, only accessing when critical, not excessively printing/ logging, etc. If you are looking for someone to review your code and possibly offer recommendation, this may be something one of our NinjaScript consultants could offer help with:
