renaming functions

this is probably a simple question with a simple answer...

say for example... i wanted to rename a function such as Print() to a new name such as ThisPrints().


How do I go about doing this?

You can not do that. However, you could create a new user defined method in your indicator/strategy although it would be redundant to do so.

private void ThisPrints(string value)
{
    Print(value);
}

does the below code take into consideration other functions that use numbers within the parenthasis as well?
I know it maybe redundant for some, but I like to rename a function to make it easier for me to understand.

No, you would need to replicate for any type you like.

Note: I strongly recommend not wrapping NT methods, since this makes you code less readable and also causes more effort on support.
