code for open of new bar?

Hi,

A simple question.

I want to do something at the open of a new bar.

OnBarUpdate() {
if ( New_Bar() ) { //if a new bar opens.
do stuff
}
}

i.e. New_Bar() == True if at 12:40, a new bar opens on a 5 minute chart.

How can I do this?

OnBarUpdate() is raised for every new bar historically and when CalculateOnBarClose = true. To monitor for each new bar in real time when COBC = false, can use the FirstTickOfBar property.
