This probably seems very elementary, but I am trying to create a User defined method that identifies pivot bars and would like it to return the number of bars ago as well as the pivot price. I can get it to return one or the other but not both. How do I set a method to return more than one value?

You want to use multiple "out"s from C# to achieve this.

Define a struct to hold both values, then return the struct.
