    Multiple TF programming

    Hello,

Trying to program an indicator accessing multiple TFs, and doing just fine if working with TFs higher than BIP==0.

However, when the main chart I'm on (BIP of 0) is larger than the TF I'm calling, my code, which works great if TF of BIP 0 <= TF of BIP==1 has a fit and starts doing all kinds of weird stuff.

Is it necessary to always work up / trade from the smallest TF you reference in a strategy or display from the smallest referenced TF for an indicator? I was hoping to reference 15M info from the hourly chart with CalculateOnBarClose==false.

    Would love any insight, thanks!

entropy, there's no particular sequence needed, however there are limitations if you try for example to display something at a timestamp resolution that the primary series could not offer per it's levell of resolution, so you would need to decide how to struture. CalculateOnBarClose is true for historical data per default for all series involved.
