Ok, I'll try to keep this succinct, as much of this subject is beyond me....but here's the question:

If I'm currently using a 3rd party application that utilizes NT ATI to send trade open and trade close information through the platform...(i.e....the 3rd party app gets a signal to go long...it sends a long order in....or vice cersa for short....when something changes....it can also close that position)...can I also use that interface to put things on the charts?

Meaning...the 3rd part app....when it has the long signal occur, instead of just sending a long order through...can it also put a green up arrow (or something...) on the chart?

Hi Jonathan,

Unfortunately drawing from the ATI is not currently supported. You can only use the functions that are available for the interface you're using. The generic dll interface functions are listed here:

you say you NtDirect.dll is in the system32 directory. I'm trying to add a reference to it in VS and I'm getting an error. Should I be looking somewhere else for the file?

funk101, are you running a 64 bit OS here? Then please check into this directory - C:\Program Files (x86)\NinjaTrader 7\bin
