        Hi Ryan,

        I have tried again but I get that the operation failed due to socket error...unreachanble network...
        Is there any other way to do this?

        By the way...for some reason there are parts of the forum that I cannot access through IE8 as well. I have no problems accesssing on my Mac but on the PC where I have Ninja it is an issue

          Yes, manually attach the xml and trace file from yesterday. Send an email to support 'at' ninjatrader 'dot' com and attach the two files indicated below:

          My Documents\NinjaTrader 7\Workspace\yourWorkspaceName.xml
          My Documents\NinjaTrader 7\trace\trace.20110323.txt

                Zeos, as indicated in Ryan's last response, we received the .xml file, but not the trace file. Please try re-sending the trace file, or attaching it here.

                      Unfortunately was not able to reproduce the issue. Any instrument changes with all linked colors worked fine. I suggest upgrading to the latest version of NinjaTrader and creating a new workspace if you still run into issues with this:

                          Hi Ryan,

                          I am running Windows XP Pro SP3. Is the latest version of NT compatible? It is asking me to uninstall SP1. It is assuming I am running Windows 7 Pro. Please advise. Thank you.

                            The latest version is 7.0.1000.4. Yes, it should be compatible with your version of windows.

                            That is a very specific message you're getting. You're right that it seems to be detecting the wrong OS. We will run a test with that OS setup here and update you in this thread with the results.

                                We tried this on two different XP machines and didn't run into similar messages. Both installs worked fine.

                                It's possible to get additional information about the message.
                                Click Windows Start Menu > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer.
                                Then Click Windows Logs > Application

                                Look for an application level error and take a screenshot of this error if possible.
                                Let us know which version of .net you're running.

                                You should be able to clean install 7.0.1000.4 if you want to get up and running as soon as possible. I'd be happy to assist through a phone call with remote assistance to get your installation straightened out. Please send a note to support 'at' ninjatrader 'dot' com to arrange this.
