Historical data

How can I get the historical bid and ask data from my data vendor.

I have set the Save chart data as historical

Tools --> Options --> Data --> RealTime data : Save chart data as historical.

It starts getting historical data but not before today. Will I get older historical data
if I download again tonight ?
