Lastplayback function from Dll interface

Hi,
I'm a proprietary trader and I'm trying to test NT7.

I'm using the external data feed and sending price to NT7 via a c# client using : Last function.
It is working fine.

1/ I'm trying now to use LastPlayBack function like that :

NTclient.LastPlayback("Key", 4869.79, 1,"20080131173000")); //yyyyMMddhhmmss
NTclient.LastPlayback("Key", 5000, 1,"20080228173000"));

Those 2 datas are recorded but with the wrong timestamp. It is recording with the current datetime.

Does anyone experiencing the same issue?

2/ I also noticed that I have to initialize the new timeserie with at least one call of Last function.
After taht, LastPlayback can record prices.

3/ Last little question:
For this, External Data Feed need to be connected. I mean from NT7 GUI.
Is there a way to automatically connect External data feed when NT7 starts?

SirHC, you could unfortunately not autoConnect to the External Feed - thanks for the suggestion.

I'm not sure I follow you here, the LastPlayback function would only be used for synchronizing to your external source, for feeding the price then the Last is used.

I mean:

Last is used to feed the last price from my program to NT7.

LastPlayback is for feeding every historical prices (past prices) from my program to NT7.

If this is correct, timestamp (20080228173000) I'm sending with LastPlayBack is not recorded correctly.

SirHC, the playback functions are not used to feed historical data into the application - they are provided to set the sync timestamp for the market data.
