Trade only if previous trade is negatif

Hello people,

I want to make a strategy which only trades if the previous trade was negatif. So I want to wait till a losing trade occurs, I don't want to trade this losing one but only the next one.

Whats the best way to do this? Do you have tips for me.

Not sure I understand as this would be the same as disabling the strategy right?

If you setup this check, you will only go long of the previous trade is negative. However lets take these sequence of events.

Go Long - Winning Trade.

Cant Go long as last trade is not a losing trade.

Now since the last trade is a winning trade you will no longer make another trade since the last trade is always positive and you have to wait for a negative trade before executing another trade.

Go Long - Losing Trade

Go Long - Winning Trade

Cant Go long as last trade is not a losing trade.

It would be better in this case to stop a strategy after a certain number of losses as the example below:
