How to get stock float or outstanding shares value?

I am trying to write a momentum indicator/strategy and wondering if there is a way to get stock float or outstanding share for a particular stock!!!

I am using ameritrade, btw what method do we use to get the data?

You would use the OnFundamentalData() in NT7 - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...aeventargs.htm - you will need to check with your provider if they can support this level of data.
