Volume Velocity

Hey folks, great forum here, I have been searching through these threads for a while. I trade a very low volume market that has times of high volume velocity and other times of dry volume velocity. After looking through the documentation and scanning through the searches on this forum....

I would love to see a method that would update a chart on a 1 second interval regardless of full or null marketdata for that time. Is there a method I have overlooked that will update a chart based on time rather than holding before market data is present?

And to further clarify, I am using a VolumeUpDown indicator where a value of "0" would look normal for a given time.

I'm not a coder by any means, and C# seems to be fun in its own right. I have been able to create simple indicators after breaking down some of the current indicators and several posts on this site. On the other hand, I feel very comfortable with python scripting and I'm curious if it would be easier to create a gui that reads an output log file generated from NT.

There is no supported way of doing this, however you may be able to override the plot method to accomplish this. See the example script at: Tool>Edit NS>Indicators>CustomPlotSample

Thanks for the response. After evaluating this further, it would appear that the standard chart may not be able to handle such a display.
